Expect creative combinations such as raw, best-grade Adriatic tuna served with wasabi mayonnaise or grilled squid with wakame algae, accompanied with unique local wine selection. No matter if you crave for your favourite Balkan dish “ćevapi” or traditional Dubrovnik “dirty makaruni”, we prepare every single meal with a hearty sense of pleasure, passion, and creativity.

Best service and good food My wife and I have traveled quite a bit and eaten at many good restaurants. Arka in Dubrovnik rank at the very top. Our waiter Martin was very professional and treated us like royalty. Now, the food (appetizer, main course and dessert) was excellent, a big "shout out" to the kitchen, specifically Mimi and Dragana, great job.

walk of shame Excellent restaurant we ordered dirty makaroni dish - it was really excellent and delicious..substantial yet light, deep delicious flavours and wonderful texture to the pasta . i would fully recommend to try it

A refreshing change In the Old Town each restaurant seemed to offer similar fare. Arka was different and we had a top quality brunch of scrambled eggs on sourdough and beautifully poached eggs on sourdough, both with a side of crispy bacon. Side eyeing other customers’ choices we could see elegant food being served and clearly they were happy customers too. Highly recommended..

Fruits de mer à éviter 1 burger et des pâtes aux fruits de mer : burger sans accompagnement il faut prendre en sus, mais pas mauvais. Les pâtes aux fruits de mer sont très bonnes, dommage pour l'intoxication alimentaire qui a suivi et qui m'a cloué au lit les 2 jours suivants ! Dommage car le personnel était super, le cadre sympa et les plats plutôt bons, faute à pas de chance sûrement.

the most amazing food and lovely waiter martin we had the most amazing night here, with amazing food. the lobster was so delicious and juicy and our waiter martin was the kindest and so helpful even offered to take photos of us. best restaurant we had been to on our holiday and will definitely come back. the food was to die for and the cocktails were so good. especially the basil one. so refreshing and tasty. 100% recommend

Excellent food, excellent service! A great restaurant in the Old Town with the friendliest staff who are only too happy to help. The food was all excellent. We ate there twice as a group of six adults and all of us loved our meals both times. The steaks were outstanding as were the desserts.

Delicious food! Was so delicious. Came across it while looking for somewhere to eat in the old town (and there’s so many) and decided this was the place to be! It was the best decision we made. The drinks were amazing, the food was amazing and the staff were so attentive! We went during cocktail hour and when it began to get a bit busier our waiter apologised for our wait for our desserts, but honestly we were just enjoying the view and the time we had together! My partner got the surf and turf which he loved and I got filet mignon 10/10, and the matcha chocolate soufflé which takes 20 minutes to make was definitely worth the wait!!! would definitely eat here again!

Our selection of local goat, sheep and cow milk cheese served on wooden platter with pickled vegetables and fig marmalade. Some of our cheeses are mature, some are not but they are all interesting.

Best of traditional Croatian cured meat delicacies; Dalmatian prosciutto, famous Slavonia’s Kulen, Bresaola, Bacon and  Mortadella. All tasty, organic and locally produced in small family farms.

Cubed raw, best-grade Adriatic tuna served with crackers and wasabi mayonnaise.

RAW SEAFOOD PLATTER   

Thinly sliced trio of crudo; smoked swordfish, toro tuna and shrimp carpaccio with yuzu and salmon roe.

HOT APPERTIZERS

5’ ĆEVAP   

Posh version of favorite Balkan dish (5 u pola). Grilled beef minced meet and mini somun bread. Don’t be shy to try, you will not regret it. Served without usual garnish like onion, so you can kiss your date later.

This ultimate seafood treat is prepared gently;  just fine touched by grill and served on celery cream and green pea puree. Say no more…

Artisan pasta (makaruni) in slow-cooked braised beef shank in fragrant sweet and sour sauce. Requires long and meticulous preparation. Popular for festivities and weddings in Dalmatia.

Homemade fettuccine pasta with fresh seafood selection in delicious white wine, red marinara sauce. Yes, we know that this can be bit of a tourist cliché, but ours is so good!

BLACK RISOTTO WITH MOTAR     

Cuttle fish and sepia ink gives this authentic dish black color and delicate taste. Motar is wildgrown herb of Adriatic rocky coast with unique sea taste. Made with carnaroli rice. A must try.

Creamy tagliatelle pasta in a lobster bisque served with a half grilled lobster (300g) on the side.

LAMB KOFTA (200g)

Delicious grilled organic lamb minced meat, served on a flat bread with our version of mediterranean classic accompaniments – tabbouleh, tzatziki and pickled vegetables.

BLACK BUN TUNA STEAK BURGER

We call it a burger just because it comes in a black brioche bun. Flavourful and colourful!

SWEET BITE

BAKLAVA DECONSTRUCTED

Traditional filo pastry with lots of nuts and very sweet taste. In our version less traditional and served with vanilla burbon ice-cream.

Fluffy, yet rich warm chocolate souffle served with green tea matcha foam. Irresistible and worth the 20 minutes wait.
