Expect creative combinations such as raw, best-grade Adriatic tuna served with wasabi mayonnaise or grilled squid with wakame algae, accompanied with unique local wine selection. No matter if you crave for your favourite Balkan dish “ćevapi” or traditional Dubrovnik “dirty makaruni”, we prepare every single meal with a hearty sense of pleasure, passion, and creativity.

Great lunch spot! We had a very nice lunch at Arka and the staff were lovely too! Their seafood is fresh and tasty, without overwhelming garnishes and the pasta was delicious too. Arka has number of healthier options on the menu as well, including some juices and salads. We came to the restaurant at 12, and the lunch is only served from 12.30, but the waitress kindly allowed us to order lunch sooner than that - their flexibility is appreciated!

Easily the best restaurant we found in Dubrovnik. On our last night in town, we booked a table here, in the middle of a touristy street in a very touristy town. Not the kind of place we would usually choose, to be honest, but we were so glad that we did. It was superb. Our server, a blonde lady, was the best over the whole weekend. She was very friendly, very knowledgeable and properly attentive. Just excellent. She knew it was our anniversary and looked after us. The food was delicious, from the scallops to the lamb kofta and chocolate soufflé. A really great end to a great stay in Dubrovnik. Thank you Arka.

Great little spot for breakfast Had breakfast here one morning whilst in Dubrovnik. It's located just near Dubrovniks' answer for Rome's Spanish steps & just up from a small square where the local green market is held. Service was good & the poached eggs where great. I'll be back

Excellent restaurant offering a unique experience An excellent restaurant doing things slightly differently. Lovely food especially the fish options. They cater for non dairy customers abd offer great service and lovely wine

Lovely steak Me and my partner were here last night, the food was excellent and the staff were all lovely. Cannot fault the place, however the cocktail list is rather sparse with none of the usuals on it… strawberry daq, s*x on the beach etc etc, apart from this it is definitely worth going if you are at loose end for somewhere to go in the old town.

Best restaurant we visited! Well this place is amazing! We stumbled across Arka to get out of the rain and then booked a meal. The manager remembered us when we come back and right from the start they was so friendly. The food was amazing and we have been to some fancy restaurants like restaurant 360. I had calamari and algae seaweed was the best starter I have ever had and tasted so good. We had scallops and kofte for our mains and they were both amazing! After we finished our meal they bought us some dessert wine with a sweet in which was amazing. I can’t thank the manager enough for our experience it is one of the best restaurants in Dubrovnik! Fantastic food, friendly staff and great location. We loved this restaurant so much we had lunch and dinner there twice. Fantastic location at the bottom of The Steps - but not pricey. The staff are amazing so friendly and helpful, really stood out. The food is fabulous- we all enjoyed every meal despite all having very different tastes. I am gluten intolerant so was particularly delighted when they advised me that almost all the items on the menu were gluten free or could be modified. All fresh ingredients- healthy has never tasted so good. Their sweet potato fries are the best ever

Our selection of local goat, sheep and cow milk cheese served on wooden platter with pickled vegetables and fig marmalade. Some of our cheeses are mature, some are not but they are all interesting.

SELECTION OF MEAT COLD CUTS   

Best of traditional Croatian cured meat delicacies; Dalmatian prosciutto, famous Slavonia’s Kulen, Bresaola, Bacon and  Mortadella. All tasty, organic and locally produced in small family farms.

TUNA TARTARE   

Cubed raw, best-grade Adriatic tuna served with crackers and wasabi mayonnaise.

RAW SEAFOOD PLATTER   

Thinly sliced trio of crudo; smoked swordfish, toro tuna and shrimp carpaccio with yuzu and salmon roe.

HOT APPERTIZERS

5’ ĆEVAP   

Posh version of favorite Balkan dish (5 u pola). Grilled beef minced meet and mini somun bread. Don’t be shy to try, you will not regret it. Served without usual garnish like onion, so you can kiss your date later.

SAINT JACQUES (SCALLOPS)   

This ultimate seafood treat is prepared gently;  just fine touched by grill and served on celery cream and green pea puree. Say no more…

WAKAME CALAMARI (SQUID)   

Unexpected fusion of grilled squid and wakame algae on the side. Unless you order, you will never guess how well they fit together. A match made in heaven…

Tiger prawns in tempura served with sweet-chili sauce and fresh

Thinly sliced seared beef sirloin tataki (150g) with sesame, spring onion and ponzu sauce.

Gourmet goat cheese filled ravioli in homemade basil pesto sauce.

DIRTY MAKARUNI   

Artisan pasta (makaruni) in slow-cooked braised beef shank in fragrant sweet and sour sauce. Requires long and meticulous preparation. Popular for festivities and weddings in Dalmatia.

PASTA FRUTTI DI MARE     

Homemade fettuccine pasta with fresh seafood selection in delicious white wine, red marinara sauce. Yes, we know that this can be bit of a tourist cliché, but ours is so good!

BLACK RISOTTO WITH MOTAR     

Cuttle fish and sepia ink gives this authentic dish black color and delicate taste. Motar is wildgrown herb of Adriatic rocky coast with unique sea taste. Made with carnaroli rice. A must try.

Creamy tagliatelle pasta in a lobster bisque served with a half grilled lobster (300g) on the side.

LAMB KOFTA (200g)

Delicious grilled organic lamb minced meat, served on a flat bread with our version of mediterranean classic accompaniments – tabbouleh, tzatziki and pickled vegetables.

Angus beef burger grilled to perfection with melted cheddar cheese,
our secret sauce and caramelized onions in a brioche bun.

BLACK BUN TUNA STEAK BURGER

Grilled tuna steak with arugula (rocket) salad and creamy dill sauce.
We call it a burger just because it comes in a black brioche bun. Flavourful and colourful!

Atlantic salmon poached in special paper foil (en papillote) in salt and Provencal herbs crust on a top of blanched leaks. Tender and delicate fish steamed and baked in its own juices.

SWEET BITE

BAKLAVA DECONSTRUCTED

Traditional filo pastry with lots of nuts and very sweet taste. In our version less traditional and served with vanilla burbon ice-cream.

Fluffy, yet rich warm chocolate souffle served with green tea matcha foam. Irresistible and worth the 20 minutes wait.
